Day 9- The Script is done!

 In class we finalized exactly what we are doing and how we are going to accomplish the task. Our film opening is a rom-com, horror film, where two different kidnappers, are going after the same person but end up falling for each other.  The film is a statical piece which is going to be taken lightly and have some horror elements to it. After we finalized in class serena created the screen play and script, her experience in theater helped us a lot. After she finished, we meet up in our media studies classroom and revised it together.

FADE INTO TITLE SCREEN, MUSIC STARTS(Thank You by Dido, or any other suggestions*), QUICK CUT TO OPENING SCENE

MUSIC FADES OUT SLOW ZOOM On a bool shelf there is a shrine with candles of the girl going to be kidnapped+serena. The room is dark with purple/red* lighting from a little moon shaped lamp.^this is in Serena’s room QUICK CUT TO NEXT SCENE

WIDE SHOT Of the front two seats and kidnapper+abby (filmed from the back seat). The van drives from the main road and takes a turn into a park.^tree tops pak* TRACKING SHOT of the kidnapper. QUICK CUT

WIDE STILL SHOT of the victim and extra #1 and #2 +mayaandtheja sitting on the sidewalk talking enthusiastically. you see the kidnapper walking in and out of the frame behind them getting progressively closer and then farther. OCCASIONAL CUTS tell us that some time has passed.

FADE OUT/FADE to an OTS shot from behind the kidnapper so we see the vitcim an extra’s one +maya at a thrift store*(or target or watching far away at starbucks)

CUT WIDE STILL SHOT to the victim waving bye to extra 1 as she walks to her car. the victim is left in front of the store alone waiting, MUSIC FADES BACK IN (lyrics: push the door, im home at last and im soaking through and through….to the end)watching videos aloud on her phone. (victim stands in the far left corner of the shot) the kidnapper walks fast towards her and stanches her out of the frame.
